NEAREST AIRPORT
Maun International Airport (MUB)
You typically fly into Maun, Botswana. Then either: Light aircraft charter from Maun to a nearby airstrip, followed by transfer to the lodge. Or a road transfer in 4×4 from Maun (complimentary ~200 km transfer, ~3 hours) for guests not doing charter flights. Helicopter transfers are also offered for more direct access.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
May-October
These months fall in Botswana’s dry season, meaning clearer skies, fewer insects, better wildlife concentration near water sources, and comfortable conditions for desert walking, biking, and open‑air experiences. The Kalahari’s landscapes are most alive then, and the nights are crisp and star‑filled.
